Aspiration to Inspiration

Cartier - ESCP - HEC Paris

Who are we?

A think tank for Cartier in collaboration with ESCP & HEC as part of the Turning Points Research Chair.

The Gen Z Observatory is a modern think tank composed of students and Cartier worldwide employees that explores emerging generational and cultural changes. Curators study societally pertinent questions from the lens of Generation Z and discuss such topics as sustainability, future of work, and love.

“Research and education play a fundamental role in helping change existing practices and models within the luxury sector. As an international luxury Maison, we remain committed to actively support those who are addressing these challenges to inspire the next generation. This means further fostering dialogues between business and education, for a concrete and durable impact.”

- Cyrille Vigneron, Chairman of Cartier Culture and Philanthropy

“We created the Gen Z Observatory to offer a deeper, more meaningful perspective on generational differences.

Our aim is to challenge stereotypes on generational differences, and to look beyond the surface to uncover fundamental shifts in perceptions and values, on a range of social and personal issues.”

-Ben Voyer, Turning Points Research Co Chair
